A Sports Family Legacy
Mike Panaggio’s commitment to sports and leadership started early, as both a coach’s kid and an elite athlete. Mike played college basketball at SUNY Brockport for famed Head Coach Mauro Panaggio, his dad. Mike broke multiple basketball school records and was graciously inducted into the SUNY Brockport Athletics Hall of Fame in 2002; he is still the "winningest" player in school history!
Carrying the Torch
Mike's father Mauro has the most coaching wins in the history of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), NBA's former developmental league. After a storied college career, Mike went on to play for the Rochester Zeniths in the CBA, notching a league title as an all-star.

Taking Care of Business
After his basketball days and a career start at Merrill Lynch, Mike developed DME from a start-up of seven people in 1984, into one of Florida's most innovative marketing companies. His success blossomed into several additional firms within the business dynasty including DME Delivers, DME Visual, DME Digital and more.
Realizing an Ambitious Dream
In 2015, Mike founded DME Academy with his brother Dan. This Daytona Beach prep school is a premium resource for student athletes from around the globe. Now a 6th to 12th grade coed boarding school with a post-grad program, DME Academy has a worldwide reputation as a haven for elite training that provides top-level competition in basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, and golf.
